Yes, breakdown assistance is included in our policies. If you cannot drive the vehicle as a result of a breakdown, we will arrange and pay for: 1 ) One hour’s labour at the roadside or at your home; and 2 ) Towing the vehicle to the nearest garage which can carry out an effective repair or to a garage of your choice, whichever is closer.

If selected windscreen cover is available. Subject to the limits below, the Insurer will pay the cost of repairing or replacing damaged or broken glass in the windscreen or windows of the Insured Vehicle. If this is the only damage you are claiming for, the Insured’s No Claims Bonus will not be affected. The maximum the Insurer will pay is as follows : SPSV €500 in any one Period of Insurance if the windscreen is replaced or repaired by the Insurer’s Approved Repairers (Allglass Windscreens Nationwide Ltd) or €250 in any one Period of Insurance if the repair or replacement is not carried out by the Insurer’s Approved Repairers (Allglass Windscreens Nationwide Ltd). • This option can be availed of at either inception or on renewal of the policy (subject to no claims having been notified). • A protected No Claims Bonus is available and if this cover is in place it will be noted on your Schedule of insurance. • If this cover is operating, the existing No Claims Bonus entitlement will not be reduced in the event of there being. - Two (2) claims (excluding windscreen claims) under the policy in any consecutive three (3) year period. - In the event of a 3rd claim (excluding windscreen claims) arising under the policy, the No Claims Bonus will be reduced to NIL. The camera is installed 2 weeks after the policy is taken out with insuremytaxi. You will be contacted by a fitter to organise a time that best suits you. The hardware is a hardwired dashcamera forward and rear passenger facing. You will be supplied with a drivers app and you can have full and immediate access to all footage. You will be supplied with full training videos on how the system and the app works.
