Taxi insurance assumptions

Unless otherwise declared by you and accepted by Insuremytaxi.ie , you agree that the following assumptions are accurate.

When deciding what Taxi insurance we can offer to you and the premium required for same, we make a number of assumptions about you, your car, the previous driving & claims history of you and anyone else who will be insured under your policy and the accuracy of the information that you have provided to us.

It is important that you fully read, understand and acknowledge these assumptions. If we become aware that you have failed to satisfy these assumptions, we may withdraw our offer and/or change the premium or level of cover which we have previously offered to you. If the policy has already incepted, we may void the contract of insurance and, in the event of an accident occurring, you may not have cover in place. 

Assumptions

• The information you give us must be honest and accurate
• You must pay your premium
• All claims or incidents must be reported to us immediately
• You must tell us of any convictions, prosecutions or penalty points applying to you or any driver
• You must tell us immediately if you change your vehicle
• You must have an up to date SPSV licence for your vehicle
• The policyholder and any named driver must hold a SPSV license
• You must take responsible care of your vehicle and your belongings
• You and all drivers must advise the Driving Licence Authority of any notifiable medical condition or disability and the Driving License Authority must have agreed to the issue of a licence
• You must observe and fulfil the terms, conditions and clauses of this policy – failure to do so could affect the cover
